Students to host triple treat of shows

Performing Arts students at Clarendon Sixth Form College set to celebrate studies with end of year performances.

Students from across the department will display their talents in three different shows – a dance show, an acting show and a musical theatre show, this month.

This year’s dance show, Mythos, is themed around Greek mythology, the titans, Achilles and Medusa. The acting show, Our World in Colour, is a play which focuses on a mysterious institution and its inhabitants and the musical theatre show, Title of the Show, is a look at the New York Musical Theatre Festival and a struggling composer trying to gain success.

Michelle Forrest, performing arts teacher at Clarendon Sixth Form College, said: “We are very excited to see students perform over the next month. All of their hard work and dedication has been focused for a long time on this and these shows demonstrate all the skills they have learnt during the academic year. Hopefully the audience enjoy seeing their talents on display.”

The shows will take place on the following dates:

  • Title of the Show – Thursday 25th May
  • Our World in Colour  – Tuesday 9th May, Wednesday 10th May
  • Mythos – Wednesday 17th May
