Welcome evening for parents, guardians and carers

Clarendon Sixth Form College is hosting a welcome evening for parents and carers of students who have just started their first and second years at the Camp street college. 

The welcome evening takes place on Monday 30th October in the college’s Brooke Vincent theatre. 

An invitation has been sent to parents and guardians, via the students, to: 

‘share an exciting opportunity for you to visit the college and hear from our A Level management team, about the ways in which you can support your child to develop an A Level mindset to achieve their full potential during their time here with us’.  

There are two sessions: 

Year 12 (1st years) Arrive at 6.00 pm  

Year 13 (2nd years) Arrive at 7.15 pm 

With the following itinerary: 

  1. Welcome and introduction  

  2. Supporting study skills – what can you do?  

  3. Accessing pastoral support 

  4. Using pro portal as a parent/guardian  

  5. Preparing for assessments and examinations  

We look forward to meeting on what promises to be an informative and invaluable evening where you will be able to take away both information and practical strategies to support your child through their A Level journey and beyond.
