‘Cinderella’ is a sold out success

Performing arts students at Clarendon Sixth Form College are celebrating after their Christmas show, Cinderella, sold out due to popular demand.

The show, which ran for three evenings, was watched by pupils from local primary schools and members of the public.

Cinderella tells the story of a young girl who serves her evil step-mother and step-sisters until she meets a prince at a ball and with the help of her fairy godmother, becomes a princess.

Michelle Forrest, performing arts teacher at Clarendon Sixth Form College, said: “The students are over the moon that so many people came to see the shows. They have put a lot of effort into developing it and making sure that every detail is right, so it is very rewarding to see. I hope that people will come back for more in the future.”

Future performances at Clarendon Sixth Form College include:

  • An evening of song and dance: Thursday 12th March 2020 and Friday 13th March 2020 - 7pm
  • Rock of ages: Thursday 18th June 2020 and Friday 19th June 2020 - 7pm
