A-level and Futures Scholarship Presentation Evening

As the term comes to a close at Clarendon Sixth Form College, former and current students gathered for the annual A-level and Futures Scholarship Presentation Evening.

The presentation held on Wednesday 18th December, celebrated the achievements of the class of 2019 and to inspire current students who have been awarded a Futures Scholarship with Clarendon Sixth Form College.

Special guest and former student, Carly Murray started with the college in 2006 studying A-levels, who then progressed to a master’s degree and also came back to the college to study teacher education. Carly is now a blended learner trainer, which involves her providing training to professionals such as lawyers.

Carly said; “I enjoyed my time at Clarendon Sixth Form College so much. I received amazing support. The advice I would give to all you students here tonight would be; if you enjoy something, make it into a career path.”

Six students were chosen to receive the £750 futures scholarship which will support them with their studies. These students wish to progress to prestigious universities and careers. Students will be supported by the senior management team at the college to ensure they succeed in their chosen career path.

Jackie Moores, Principal of Clarendon Sixth Form College provided words of inspiration to the students; “Dream big, stay focused and work hard.”

Congratulations to all students.
