Animation and Game Design (Vocational A Level)

Course content & format

During the first term, you will be exploring cutting edge techniques for animation and games. This will include reality capture for virtual reality, traditional animation styles using modern animation methods and set design for animation and games.

In the second term, you will learn about concept art and character design and will design, build and animate a 2D game character.

In the final term, you will learn about game design. This will involve learning how to code for games as well as combining all of your previously learned skills to create a gaming experience for a mobile device.

Entry Qualifications

A minimum of 5 GCSE’s at grade 4
