A Level student, Georgia Jones has been offered a place to study at the prestigious Durham University.

Georgia, a former pupil at Werneth High School, received high A Level grades, including an A* for English language and literature, plus an A in classical civilisation. Whilst at Durham University, Georgia is studying combined English literature and classics.

Georgia said: “Before I attended Clarendon Sixth Form College, I had never heard of ‘classics’ as a subject, but the teachers encouraged me to study it. I cannot thank the teachers enough for developing my passion for the subjects I love.”
